As a living studio, the Soil Laboratory invites museum visitors and audiences engaging with the topic around soil contamination and soil care.
The Soil Laboratory will be launched during Helsinki Design Week 3.-13.9. and continues throughout the exhibition from September 4 to October 25, 2020.

The Un/Making Studio invited Soil Laboratory investigates on local soil as part of Un/making Soil Communities project. In the Soil Matters exhibition, the project is situated in the context of the Nuutajärvi glass village in Finland. Several soil samples were gathered from Nuutajärvi glass village in August 2020. The Soil Laboratory will present the analysis of the gathered soils from Nuutajärvi and experiments with vegetations that remediate the soil.
